Here is our PSA based on the recent recall from Kidde, On November 2, 2017, the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) published a recall of about 37.8 million Kidde fire extinguishers with plastic handles and push buttons in the United States, and approximately 3 million more in Canada. The fire extinguishers can become clogged or require excessive force to discharge and can fail to activate during a fire emergency. In addition, the nozzle can detach with enough force to pose an impact hazard.
